Facebook changes things around for Windows 10 users

So far, Facebook Live Video has been a huge success. It started taking off back in March, shortly after it was released to the public.

Since then, Facebook has made some great changes that make viewing these live videos easier. There’s a new map you can use to find videos as they’re streaming anywhere in the world. You can also follow people on Facebook and watch for their announcements of the times they plan to stream. Did you know that Kim also uses Facebook Live Stream to share the first 10 to 15 minutes of the Kim Komando Show? Like her on Facebook to stay in the loop.

A downside of Facebook Live Video is that the feature is currently only available on your mobile device. But it looks like that’s about to change. The Facebook app in Windows 10 will soon be offering this feature. This means that users will be able to stream live videos from their tablets and PCs.

There’s no word yet as to whether or not Facebook is also working on a form of the app that will work on Mac or Chrome OS, but it is clear that the promotion and expansion of Live Video is on Facebook’s agenda.

Hopefully, this trend will continue. We just love watching videos like the “Happy Chewbacca” video shared by Candace Payne last week.
